Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to navigate routes effectively while adhering to all road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods. Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods securely, ensuring they are transported safely. Help out in factory when needed Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road safety practices. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Flexibility in working hours, including early starts or late finishes if required.
