Overview

We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with road safety regulations. Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry to deliver goods across designated routes Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured correctly during transit Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and timeliness Conduct vehicle safety checks prior to each shift and report any issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company policies during driving operations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues Assist with organising deliveries and pickups as required Assist with the warehouse team as needed

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar lorries Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and customer service Valid driving licence for 7.5 tonne vehicles, with a clean driving record Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving and vehicle operation Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods safely and efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-17.19 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
