Trainee Fuel Tanker Driver

Taplow (SL6 0NL) 6-8 months then Charvil (RG10 9QJ) will be the permenant base.

Are you currently driving a commercial 7.5-ton vehicle? Speedy Fuels is seeking to develop our next generation of Fuel Tanker Drivers! Our previous candidate has successfully completed their training and is now a fully qualified Fuel Tanker Driver. What We Offer:

Comprehensive Training:

You will receive fully funded training, including support to obtain your HGV license and certifications in ADR and PDP.

Career Progression:

Start at a salary of 27,000 while training as a van driver. Upon completing your HGV license, your salary will increase to 33,000, with an additional 3,000 raise each year for the first three years.

Supportive Environment:

Work alongside experienced drivers, shadowing them to learn the ropes and build your skills in fuel delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the safe loading and unloading of fuel deliveries. Deliver fuel to various customer sites in a timely and efficient manner. Follow all health and safety regulations during deliveries. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and professional experience. Accurately complete required paperwork for each delivery. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with experience driving 7.5-ton vehicles. Understanding of road safety regulations and procedures. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and late nights. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and service. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
