7.5T Agency Driver role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring compliance with all driving regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry for the safe delivery of goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure the lorry is in good working condition. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork as required. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients. Safety Conscious.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Valid and up to date CPC Qualifications Valid and working Digi/TAcho Card The use of Manual Truck / Pallet trucks / Sack Barrows (Manual Handling) Safety conscious High standard in respect of legislation and law Knowledge of I.T ie scanners similar to a mobile phone Positive individual displaying professional behaviours Vehicle checks Customer care and experience Multi drop experience within South Wales The role will involve deliveries and collections and will require excellent communication skills

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 14.48-15.48 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 56 per week
