Overview

We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and installing whitegoods to our customers, ensuring timely service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and delivery operations, seeking a reliable and organised position within a reputable company. All uniform will be supplied by the company,pay is every 4 weekly if targets hit there is a 250 bouns avalible and for the best performing crew a further 100 avalible every 4 weeks

Responsibilities

Arrive on site at 6.30am collect everything needed for that day and perform daily vehicle checks Safely operate a 7.5 tonne lorry to deliver goods across designated routes Load and unload items using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure transportation Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and punctuality Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during daily operations Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues

Requirements

Pass dbs and attend online health&saftey induction Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record, including relevant category for 7.5 tonne vehicles Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with 7.5t vehicles or similar lorries Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and time management skills Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for vehicle operation Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules or routes as required
