Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5T Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their deliveries on time.

Duties

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Perform deliveries of goods to designated locations, ensuring that all items are securely loaded and unloaded. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist with loading and unloading pallets. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to safety and transport.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar commercial driving role. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Ability to operate curtain side vehicles safely and efficiently is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid C driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record.
