Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne/ Pickup driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as adherence to all driving regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Operate a pickup when needed Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Relevant CPC hours Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with flatbed lorries and commercial driving practices is advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
