Eden Brown are seeking a dynamic and motivated A Level Computer Science Lecturer to join a leading Sixth Form College in Merseyside. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or industry professional with a strong passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the subject.
About the Role:
As an A Level Computer Science Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students preparing for their A Level exams. You will play a key role in supporting student's academic progress, ensuring they develop the technical skills and analytical thinking required for success in the subject.
Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering dynamic, student-centred lessons on the A Level Computer Science curriculum.
• Providing constructive feedback and assessment to help students achieve their full potential.
• Supporting students with their personal and academic development through mentoring and guidance.
• Developing and updating teaching resources to enhance learning.
• Contributing to the broader academic community within the college.
• Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

About You:
We are looking for an individual who is both knowledgeable and passionate about Computer Science, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. You should possess:
A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g. Software Engineering, Information Technology).

• Experience teaching A Level Computer Science
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Strong understanding of the A Level Computer Science syllabus,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to student support and development.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
