Job Summary:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused

AAT Trainee

or

finance graduate

to join our friendly and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad experience in both

commercial property accounting

and

general accountancy practice work

You'll get hands-on training in specialist areas such as

service charge accounts

, while also supporting with the preparation of

limited company accounts

,

corporation tax

and

personal tax returns

. Whether you're actively studying or a graduate still finding your path, we're happy to support your journey at your own pace.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing

service charge accounts

for commercial property clients. Post and reconcile

supplier invoices

and assist with payment processes. Support with

cash reconciliations

,

working documents

, and

extended trial balances (ETBs)

. Manage supplier statement reconciliations and liaise with stakeholders on queries. Upload financial data into systems such as

Re-Leased & MRI

Support in preparing

year-end accounts for limited companies

. Assist in preparing and submitting

corporation tax returns

and

personal tax returns

for clients. Perform general bookkeeping and practice admin tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

AAT student or graduate in Accounting/Finance--or a finance graduate looking for experience before starting further study. Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn. Good knowledge of Excel and general IT systems. Organised and able to manage workload across varied tasks. Confident communicator with a positive attitude and team spirit.
