The Role
The Deckhand (AB) / Cook has responsibility for providing all catering services in a safe and hygienic manner in addition to taking all necessary actions for safety, security, pollution prevention and efficient operation of the ship.
Principal Responsibilities
Carrying out all orders and instructions in a safe and efficient manner
Form part of a mooring and anchoring party
Ship husbandry tasks
Ship operational tasks for example, Mooring work, Support to trial teams, Loading and unloading
Operate deck machinery when suitably trained or qualified
Provide catering services for 7 crew and clients onboard the vessel
Undertake training as required to comply with Company regulations and legislative requirements

STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
