The Opportunity!

As a Manager within our

Medical Team

, you will:


Own and manage a portfolio of medical and healthcare clients, including GP practices, consultants, and other healthcare providers Oversee your team's client portfolios and contribute to workflow and resource planning Deliver revenue, profitability, and service quality targets Build strong, long-lasting relationships with medical professionals and practice managers Develop, support, and inspire our people, ensuring delivery of specialist advice to the healthcare sector

Day-to-Day Duties

Manage a portfolio of medical and healthcare clients with a high level of responsibility Oversee your team's client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services Use workflow management tools to plan and manage workloads across your team and your own portfolio Deliver a full range of accounting, tax, and advisory services, with support from Directors/Partners on complex technical matters Proactively identify opportunities to provide additional services to medical clients and escalate these to Directors/Partners Act as a key point of contact for clients, minimising the need for partner involvement where appropriate Work both autonomously and collaboratively within the wider team Take responsibility for the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and commercially focused advice tailored to the medical sector

What are we looking for?

ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice Experience working with medical or healthcare clients or a strong interest in developing this specialism Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members
