This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, multi branch engineering business based in Liverpool.

Specialising in electrical, electronic & mechanical engineering, we have extensive knowledge, expertise and equipment enabling us to provide a complete turnkey fault-find, repair and manufacture service for clients.

Growing demand from clients has led to an immediate requirement for experienced (time-served with a minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship) Electrical Motor Winders with in-depth knowledge and experience of AC and DC equipment.

Duties will Include

Detail and rewinding low and medium voltage motors including those using formed coils*
Rewinding AC and DC motors including fields and armatures for a wide range and sizes up to 1MW*
Manufacture basic formed coils*
Repair and rewind alternator units up to 5MW.*
Attend site to test and analyse motors and generators in use using standard industry equipment and determining faults and repair action required*

Standard hours of work are 40 hours Mon- Fri 08.00-16.30 day shift @ 24.00/hr; overtime @ 36.00/hr and Sunday working @ 48.00/hr . The role comes with company pension, 4 weeks holiday (increasing to 5 weeks) + bank holidays, death in service benefits
