34.5 hours a week (excluding half an hour unpaid lunch break a day)
The Academic Representation Team supports and empowers over 500 Representatives with the aim of ensuring that students are able to thrive, belong, and succeed within their studies. Working closely with Senior Academic Representation Coordinators, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional Academic Representation system, taking the lead in overseeing our volunteer Course Representatives.
We are looking for a graduating student or recent graduate to support and empower representatives across the University, including our volunteer Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Course Reps, as well as Postgraduate Research Reps.
We're looking for someone who is:
Well organised and confident balancing different priorities and deadlines.
Excellent at customer service, with great communication skills.
Experienced at managing or processing data and using admin systems accurately.
Previous experience of working in a democratic environment or being involved in student groups in a higher education setting is desirable but a genuine passion for student voice and representation, will also be key to your success in this role. You must have availability to work in the UK for the duration of the contract as we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
