Rate: 17 per hour

Location: London, Camden area (ability to travel for matches)

Hours: Weekday evenings (training) & weekend mornings (matches)

The Role





We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Academy Coach to join our Academy programme. This role is ideal for a coach who is passionate about player development and can deliver engaging, challenging sessions in line with our playing philosophy and wider charitable mission.

The position requires a strong level of commitment:




Weekday evenings to deliver Academy training sessions. Weekend mornings to manage and support your team on matchdays.

Key Responsibilities




Plan, deliver, and review high-quality training sessions aligned with the Bloomsbury Football curriculum. Coach, manage, and support a team during weekend fixtures. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all players. Monitor player progress and provide feedback to support their development. Communicate effectively with players, parents/guardians, and colleagues. Act as a role model for Bloomsbury's values of excellence, inclusivity, and commitment.

Requirements




Minimum FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football qualification (FA Level 2 / UEFA C desirable). Current FA Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain). Experience coaching young players in a structured environment. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. A genuine passion for youth development and grassroots football. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as a core part of the role.
