Position:

Football Coach - 16-23 Football Education Programme

Hours:

Part-time, 18-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, sessional during school term time

Location:

Are you passionate about developing the next generation of football talent? Future Pro Academy is seeking a dedicated and professional Football Coach to join our 16-23 Football Education Programme, working with student-athletes (male and female) to help them achieve their full potential both on and off the pitch. Training scholars daily along with leading a team and match day tasks are a key part of the role. If you have good experience working with young players and want to produce talent, Future Pro has an exciting role available as we continue to expand our programme.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality football coaching sessions tailored to the development needs of players aged 16-23. Lead a team in the college / university leagues. Support the holistic development of student-athletes, including technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of their game. Foster a positive and inclusive training environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and respect. Work collaboratively with the programme staff to align coaching sessions with the curriculum and educational objectives. Monitor and assess player progress, providing constructive feedback and setting individual development goals. Maintain accurate session plans, player attendance records, and performance reports. Ensure the health and safety of players during training sessions and matches, following safeguarding best practices. Act as a mentor and role model, instilling professionalism and a strong work ethic in all players.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:



UEFA A License UEFA B License coaching qualification. UEFA C License working towards UEFA B Experience working within an academy football setting (desirable). Degree In Sport (Desirable) A fully enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate (Essential) A clean, valid driver's license (Essential) driving is required.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:



Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. A sound understanding of player development pathways and the footballing ecosystem in the UK. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in coaching. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in coaching both male and female players is advantageous.
