We are currently seeking to recruit an
Academy Operations Specialist
to join the team at the Mercedes-Benz Apprentice Academy, Milton Keynes.
The Operations Specialist will report directly into the Funding Specialist and is part of a small team responsible for the ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Mercedes-Benz Apprentice Academy.
They will oversee all administrative processes and contribute to the successful running of the Academy to make sure learners and employer receive an excellent customer experience. This includes maintaining accurate learner and programme records, coordinating training schedules, supporting learners and employers with queries, welcoming and hosting learners while providing reception support, and ensuring documentation is delivered to a high standard.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Manage the learner administration cycle including enrolment, registration, withdrawal, end point assessment bookings and completion
Maintain accurate records across all platforms and ensure all learner and programme information is accurate, up to date and audit ready
Support the Funding Specialist with the input, update and validation of learner information in management information systems
Act as the first point of contact for administrative queries from learners, employers and Academy staff
Schedule learner attended and virtual (online) training sessions
Welcome learners upon arrival at reception, and host during lunchtime and breaks to make sure they get an excellent customer experience
Manage certificates--making sure they're received, logged, and shared with employees.
Proactively monitor and communicate learner non-attendance with the relevant parties
Report training attendance and schedule updates to the Programme Manager
Manage accommodation and travel bookings, liaising with suppliers
Provide support with the invigilation of exams
Maintain confidentiality and data protection to protect sensitive leaner information
Follow all relevant Academy policies, e.g. Quality Assurance and Risk Management, Safeguarding and Prevent, Equal Opportunities and Diversity
While learning and development experience is desirable, it's not essential

Contract:
Permanent / Full Time
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday / 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm. Flexibility may be required on occasions.
Equipment:
Mercedes-Benz will provide all equipment necessary to perform the role, including laptop and monitor
Place of Work:
Office based, Mercedes-Benz Apprentice Academy, Delaware Drive, Tongwell, Milton Keynes. Occasional travel may be required.
