The Common Access Point is the first point of contact within Adult Services. The role of the Access and Information Assistants is providing information, advice, and assistance to the individuals of Swansea. The role will involve answering telephone calls and email/online enquiries. Working in a preventative way to sign post to appropriate community services and creating referrals using WCCIS.


The role includes working with individuals, families, groups and communities to enable optimum outcomes to promote independence and social inclusion.


Our approach in the team follows the Principles of the Social Services and Well Being Act (Wales) 2014. Which focusses on working with people, in partnership, to meet the client's needs and to stop issues from escalating.
