Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be joining an existing team due to continuing growth of the company. The role involves both day to day and detailed maintenance of both caravans and housing for our seasonal workers - this does not include electrical or gas maintenance. It is our aim to maintain our accommodation standards to a high level.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Maintaining in house drainage systems. Troubleshoot and repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on in house software programs. Collaborate with other departments or trade contacts to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities. Assist in the installation of new equipment and accommodation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience maintenance or similar role. Knowledge of plumbing & joinery. Ability to use power tools safely & confidently. Strong understanding of accommodation maintenance. Work with clear attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Confident working with differing nationalities. Familiarity with health and safety regulations is preferred. Full manual driving licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.12 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 55 per week
