. This is a part time, fixed term position with a competitive rate of pay of 12.75 per hour.

About the role of Accommodation Officer
Key Responsibilities
The Accommodation Officer will be responsible for providing support to tenants. Below is an example of the support to be provided:
??Support to manage mental and physical health needs and access local resources
??Medication prompting
??Prompting to maintain living space and personal hygiene
??Support to develop independent living skills
??Support to access educational or employment opportunities
??Budgeting support
??Liaising with external agencies
??Creating support plans and updating daily support logs
This is an overview of the support required. Support is holistic to the needs of the individual tenants. A full job description will be provided prior to interview.
key Requirements
??IT literate
??Experience of supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs
??A good understanding of local resources in the Walsall/Willenhall area
??Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and protocols
??Strong communication and liaison skills, both verbal and written
??Empathy and patience in dealing with vulnerable individuals
Desirable skills / qualifications
??NVQ level 3 in health and social care
??Mental health awareness
??Drug and alcohol awareness
??Understanding around a trauma informed approach to support
