Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support in client services, data entry, and communication tasks to ensure smooth account management. Your multilingual skills and customer support expertise will help us strengthen relationships with diverse clients and internal teams alike.

Role Responsibilities:

Processing sales invoices and investigating customer queries in liaison with Customer Services.

Processing of purchase invoices liaising with suppliers and departments concerned. Ownership of Credit Control. Assist in preparation of weekly payment runs. Posting of bank transactions. Posting of journals. Carry out Weekly Cycle Count when required. Assist with queries from external auditors. Holiday cover for other finance team members. Other ad-hoc duties.

Skills & Competencies:

AAT Qualified Accountant or QBE.

Commercial Awareness. Good communication skills. Good problem solving and analytical skills. Competent on Microsoft Office products, and Accounting Software. Effective communication with finance and non-finance staff. Good understanding of the organisations objectives and operations. Basic understanding of technical accounting issues. Flexible in supporting business needs.

Relationships:

This position reports directly into the Accounting Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From 26,500.00 per year
