We are now seeking a part-time experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at our Gower Street site in Farnworth, Bolton.
Hours are 5 days / 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm.
Key Responsibilities
Process purchase invoices and match them to purchase orders.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
Assist with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
Support month-end processes.
Enter financial data into accounting software Sage.
Handle expense claims.
File financial documents and maintain organised digital/physical records.
Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and reports.
Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting support.
Working knowledge of accounting software
Sage

Strong numerical and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
