Job purpose:




We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team on a6-month temporary contract, supporting the smooth and efficient running of our UK & Ireland F&B finance operations. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and ensuring suppliers are paid on time. This role suits someone with great attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a passion for keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes.


Contract

: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:




Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices Resolving discrepancies with stores, buyers and suppliers promptly Allocation of payments and credit notes appropriately Monthly supplier account reconciliations ensuring all ledgers are accurately reflecting the costs of the business Preparation of fortnightly payment runs and ad-hoc payments General ledger journals Bank reconciliations Sales cash and card reconciliations

Qualifications:




Experience using SAP desirable 2 years relevant experience Experience of dealing with large volume of complex invoices Experience of dealing with multi-currency

Excellent communication skills Great attention to detail and pride in their output Keen to take responsibility and able to use own initiative A team player Speed and accuracy are very important as dealing with multiple accounts/clients to strict deadlines. Flexible and adaptable to business needs
