Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting Tasks
Take payments and update the sales database
Enter and reconcile financial transactions in
QuickBooks
Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
Process invoices, receipts, and payments
Update internal financial spreadsheets and logs
Run stock controls for products
Accounts Payable
Process supplier invoices
Monitor outstanding balances
Prepare and schedule supplier payments
Maintain supplier records and respond to payment queries
Accounts Receivable
Update payment statuses in QuickBooks and relevant systems
Support credit control tasks when needed
General Support
Prepare basic financial reports using Excel
Assist with month-end documentation
Organise finance files and documentation
Support the finance manager with any ad-hoc accounting tasks
Key Skills & Requirements
Essential
Strong proficiency in
QuickBooks (Online)
Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, data entry, formatting, Pivot Tables helpful)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Punctual with good organisational and time-management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Desirable
Understanding of basic UK bookkeeping and accounting processes
Experience using Salesforce or a similar database
