About The Role:
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm or 7am until 4pm.
OCS are proudly delivering TFM services to the iconic Southbank Centre - the largest arts centre in the UK, and the beating heart of London's cultural life since 1951 and we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Account Director to join and lead this contract.
Key responsibilities will include:
Understand and successfully lead the contract, whilst identifying opportunities for growth, development and exceeding expectations
Ensure compliance with operational KPI and SLAs, whilst delivering industry best practices and statutory
obligations Lead a one-team culture across maintenance, cleaning and helpdesk, foster collaboration and joined up commitment to be best in class
Effective line management of Contract Operations Manager, Soft Services Contract Manager and Head of Helpdesk/Ops Support, ensuring each has strategic priorities, performance targets, regular appraisals, and succession planning, and focus on achieving best in class service at Southbank Centre.
Risk management and mitigation in all aspects of the service delivery
Confident management of a large value P&L
Identify, drive and deliver commercial cost savings benefits
Clearly and appropriately escalate and communicate matters that could affect performance and reputation of Southbank and OCS
Take charge of P&L and commercial performance of contract
Engage with the client regarding contract negotiations and contract change.
Lead budget planning and regularly review financial performance against budget
Support in the process of identifying opportunities, deploying strategies and implementing practical solutions to best deliver on viable business opportunities
Foster an environment where effective FM, M&E, Fabric, Cleaning and support functions can be managed and developed, including performance, delivery, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, selection and training.
Deploy the strategic account development plan, monitoring and reviewing its effectiveness against plans
Desirable Qualifications or Required Experience:
Extensive experience within TFM & estates management, ideally in a high-profile event environment
Right to work in the UK
Demonstrable and clear understanding of the basic principles of M&E systems and soft services.
NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
Significant and direct operational and stakeholder management experience within a complex customer
facing environment Knowledge of industry best practice for financial contract management and commercial awareness
A demonstrable track record in driving TFM innovation
Understanding of strategic TFM matters that require a broad appreciation of service delivery within mixed-use environments
Have a well-balanced risk management approach and a willingness to challenge accepted methodologies.
Understanding of laws, regulations and guidelines within the Facilities Management industry
Strong confidence in self and ability to manage a challenging high footfall environment where expectations are of the highest standards
Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Experience of leading a large, skilled service delivery team, bringing teams together collaboratively and achieving more
Managing a P&L of 4m+
Highly motivated with a passion for driving operational business change
Ability to analyse and present MI visually and impactfully, with focus on looking forward
Technical qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering
Ability to create and lead a strong team environment across a large multiservice team (100+)
Establish and maintain strong and positive relations with customers and local stakeholders
Experience in negotiating and working with supply partners
