Situation UK is an agency built for live entertainment brands and championing the power of shared experiences around the world.
Situation is designed to meet the challenges and opportunities facing the live events industry today. We offer full marketing and creative services for experience-based brands: live entertainment, attractions, theatre, arts and culture institutions, and more.
Our core values shape our culture and the work we deliver: Innovation, Collaboration, Empathy and Connection. We're dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities and creating a diverse staff, reflective of the experiences we champion and audiences we build.
Situation UK is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead the day to day marketing strategy for our high profile clients, including some of the West End's Biggest Theatrical Productions.
We're currently 11 people in the UK and we're excited to continue growing our talented team of industry experts.
This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the clients they oversee, drive the strategic operation of our advertising campaigns, collaborating extensively with internal teams across social, paid media and creative. The Account Director will be responsible for overall service and performance, including management of client relationships, communications and budgets.
The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for paid, owned and earned media, excellent communication and client management skills and the ability to deliver best in class service.
We are looking for someone with experience in the West End theatre industry, having worked at a similar agency or in a similar environment.
What You'll Do
The Account Director is the face of the agency to the client and the face of the client to the agency. This role will be seen as the Account Lead on their portfolio of clients and will be responsible for leading and driving strong, innovative strategies to help their clients succeed.
The Account Director will be expected to nurture strong relationships with our clients and problem solve when there are escalations or concerns raised.
Note - as we're currently a small team in the UK, this role will be more hands-on than the equivalent role at larger agencies. The position is ideal for someone who is happy getting involved in day to day Account Management tasks, as well as overseeing strategy and client relationships. As we grow the team we will introduce more junior roles to Client Services. At the moment it's all hands on deck! This is a great opportunity if you want to be part of a growing team where you can have an impact and help shape the future of Situation UK.
