We're looking for an excellent communicator, team player, creative thinker and naturally curious individual to join our award-winning environmental communications team as an Account Executive.
The role is responsible for delivering excellent day-to-day client work, playing a key support role within the team and ensuring that work is delivered on multiple accounts of various sizes.
About the role
------------------
We're looking for an ambitious, creative individual who is passionate about communicating solutions to climate change and other environmental topics.
You will be supporting our team with fundamental communications activities, including:
Copywriting and editing (e.g., media pitches, short- and long-form content, social media posts, campaign reports)
Media monitoring, including maintaining a close understanding of the evolving media landscape as it relates to geopolitical, environmental and other global and local developments
Curating and maintaining targeted media lists
Media pitching
Stakeholder research and analysis
Contribution to media and digital plans and strategies
Researching and recommending event, podcast and webinar opportunities according to client needs
Knowledge management support
Administrative support on client accounts (e.g., building and maintaining action trackers, meeting agendas and actions, activity reports)
About you

Interested applicants should be passionate about driving transformational change on climate action and other environmental areas relevant to governments, NGOs and businesses, and have relevant communications and PR experience.
Your communications experience should include:
Strong understanding of worldwide media outlets
Building topic-specific, targeted media lists and tailored pitching
Social media copywriting (including LinkedIn)
Relevant skills and qualities

Strong technical understanding of a range of environmental issues, international climate policy, and the sustainability landscape
Excellent grammar, writing and editing skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proactive and efficient worker, able to work on assignments independently and in a team

Excellent organisational and time management skills
Additional requirements

Candidates will have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree in one of the following areas: climate or environmental science, management or policy, communications, politics and public policy, international development, or other related fields .
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team of experienced individuals.
