Job Description

The Account Manager for Local Marketing is responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with franchisees of one of our biggest clients at ITG.


You'll help to ensure the seamless delivery of bespoke local marketing activity, with the role sitting within ITG's Local Marketing team and focusing on delivering high-quality artwork, campaign materials, and promotional assets through ITG's Canopy portal and via bespoke production briefs.


You will be the go-to partner for franchisees, helping them activate local campaigns that drive footfall, sales, and community engagement -- managing requests from brief to delivery, supporting creative layout and design, and working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving retail and QSR environment.

Key Responsibilities



Franchisee Relationship Management



Act as the primary point of contact for franchisees regarding local marketing requests, bespoke artwork orders, pricing queries, and campaign support. Build strong, trusted relationships with franchise owners, development agents, and regional teams. Provide guidance on best-practice Local Store Marketing (LSM) and appropriate use of brand guidelines. Facilitate smooth communication between franchisees, internal teams, and suppliers.

Bespoke Marketing Requests & Production Management



Receive, interpret, and manage bespoke artwork briefs submitted by franchisees. Work closely with design, artwork, and production teams to ensure accurate, high-quality outputs. Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and technical specifications. Track job progress, maintain timelines, and proactively flag risks or delays.

Campaign Delivery & Local Activation



Assist in developing and executing local marketing campaigns tailored to franchisee needs. Work to tight deadlines around promotions, seasonal launches, menu updates, and national campaign alignment. Liaise with suppliers on print, distribution, and installation when required. Ensure all LSM (Local Store Marketing) executions support national brand priorities and maintain consistency.

Planning, Reporting & Continuous Improvement



Keep accurate records of all franchisee activity, orders, and campaign performance metrics. Produce regular updates for client and ITG stakeholders, summarising volume, trends, and engagement. Support the Local Marketing Lead and Account Director with quarterly performance and service-level reporting.

Requirements



Experience in account management, client service, or marketing coordination. Experience in retail, hospitality, QSR, franchise networks, or local marketing activation. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs concurrently under tight deadlines. Excellent communication, relationship building, and customer service skills. Ability to translate franchisee needs into clear briefs for designers and production teams. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. Confident working with digital asset management systems, marketing portals, or e-commerce platforms.
