Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Out of Home (OOH) team here at Nestle Professional on a 12 month fixed term contract as
Account Manager
on the Buying Groups team to lead, manage and grow a portfolio of key buying group customers. This is a high-profile role, where you will have the opportunity to driving and accelerate our fantastic Food and Beverage portfolio comprising relevant solutions for all key Foodservice sectors. A day in the life of an Account Manager ....
As Account Manager, you will have direct responsibility for delivering the Buying Group strategy, collaborating with the Route To Market (RTM) Field Sales, and Beverage & Food CBUs and driving its execution in target customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:Deliver on key business objectives and grow sales of wholesalers / members of Buying Group customers, aligned with the Buying Group strategy.
Develop Joint Business and Execution Plans with the customer sales teams
Drive penetration and other business development initiatives based on Buying Group strategy, strategic priorities and local market characteristics across NP portfolio.
Work with the Activation team to deliver added value to the customer execution and develop strong activation (including digital) and customer plan
Monitor and analyse performance and growth by key customer, develop corrective / accelerating actions in order to achieve business objectives
Support Foodservice category strategy development and execution
Work closely with Field Sales team to ensure execution of Bidfood strategy within RTM, provide required support to RTM Field Sales teams to drive growth in priority channels delivered through RTM.
What will make you successful
To be successful, you'll already have some fantastic sales experience under your belt, and will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment.
You will also have the following skills & experience:A proven track record of Sales in the FMCG/Foodservice Industry
Experience working with Buying Groups, wholesalers would be advantageous
Successfully deliver on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results
Established Customer Key Account management skills focused on collaboratively driving Joint Business plans aligned at a top to top level between the Customer and Nestle Professional
The ability to analyse data, "join the dots" - build insights based on analysis and develop plans to address new opportunities
Understanding of the link between Supply, Category, Finance and Sales
The ability to motivate and collaborate with cross functional teams
Influencing & networking across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including senior level
Successful negotiation experience
