Starting from 45k based on experience, plus 10% Bonus based on achieving targets

ABOUT THE JOB



Account Manager

- working within a highly driven and experienced team, this is an exciting role providing a rewarding career with the opportunity for tangible development of your commercial skills, in a fast paced customer lead venue and events agency. You will drive revenue growth, from a prestigious client portfolio; strengthening stakeholder relationships, form trusting partnerships, instinctively exploit sales opportunities and hunt out new revenue prospects.

This position is accompanied by a generous reward structure for successful client management and revenue growth. The position is office based, with potential for a home office day per week (subject to an approved home office environment), requires travel for client presentations, account reviews, hosted client and agency familiarisation trips.

Key duties and responsibilities -



Account Management

Effectively manage a portfolio of clients, achieve revenue targets and minimum engagement levels of 20 appointments per month Client facing with a consultative approach; in-take of venue enquiries, presenting outstanding venue options, taking feedback and securing confirmations Meeting and presenting the company services, value proposition and messaging to new, existing bookers and Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Client Contract Owners

Strategy & Execution

Be fully immersed in the strategic goals and priorities of Inspirational Venues & Events Create, nurture and maintain key relationships with clients and suppliers Prepare and deliver up to date Client Account Development Plans

Lead Qualification & Conversion

Qualify leads and understand client preferences Cross sell all Inspirational Venue & Events services Engage with existing clients / database to create new and identify additional opportunities

Event Management & Marketing Content

Plan, organise and lead events such as; client fam trips, venue safari's, sales missions, customer events, implementation / immersion weeks and VIP requests. Contribute and create content for marketing activities; blogs, newsletters, social media, campaigns, etc...

Collaboration & Reporting

Weekly - prepare for and attend the Commercial Meeting (held in-person each Monday) Monthly - deliver and record activity on a minimum of 20 meetings Produce and present meaningful client Management Information and Dashboards Manage the growth and maintenance of the client database / CRM for accurate records Collaborate with our Client Engagement team, attend agency fam trips and venue presentations to continuously develop venue knowledge Follow key industry trade publications, e.g. M&IT, C&IT, Conference News and stay informed of industry news

ABOUT YOU



Client, sales and account management experience - minimum 1 year Experienced in the MICE sector - venue knowledge an advantage Previous experience in proactive hotel sales / event management is highly beneficial Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and achieve results Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and active listening skills Customer-focused with a commitment to satisfaction Excellent interpersonal skills - relationship-building and collaboration abilities Strong organisational, accuracy and planning skills under pressure Natural networker and brand ambassador Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems
