Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Media Sales / Account Manager to join our successful media team.

We are now looking for a motivated Account Manager to manage part of our product portfolio, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and develop new business opportunities. We are looking for someone who is motivated to be out on the road meeting clients and building trusted advisor status, so having strong business acumen is essential.

Your time will be split between our offices in Macclesfield and approximately 2 days a week spent on territory visiting clients. There is the opportunity for some homeworking.

We are Spacehouse. A media & publishing company created in 2000 and we have a great reputation for quality of service within our core markets.

We own and manage a number of sector leading websites, magazines and events in the B2B sector, specialising in the environment, local government, transport, social care and health sectors.

We are not looking for "finishers" or "closers", we are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills who understands the value of long-term business relationships. A key part of the role is arranging and conducting client appointments on territory to promote our product portfolio. As a brand ambassador a professional and client centred approach is essential.

This role offers a great deal of autonomy while working as part of a successful team on established and successful products.

Key Responsibilities

To manage existing business and drive recruitment advertising across a number of sector leading products. Develop business relationships across our sectors to ensure our products are at the forefront with key decision makers within local authorities, executive resourcing organisations and advertising agencies. To arrange and conduct client interfacing meetings externally, representing our sector leading products Develop a trusted advisor relationship status with the client base Develop and deliver compelling client propositions Negotiate advertising packages with clients Achieve monthly team revenue targets
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

At least 1 year customer services / account management experience Field sales experience Full, clean driving licence Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills Great communicator - strong verbal and written skills Highly professional IT Literate Tenacity Sense of humour & a positive attitude Team Player - but works on own initiative

Salary OTE 35,000 Plus.

Base Salary of 28,000 to 30,000 (pro rata for reduced hours) Plus commission. Monthly commissions - minimum potential of 1,000 per month Realistic OTE 35,000 per annum, but higher levels are possible. Salary: depending upon experience - competitive basic salary of 28,000 to 30,000 (pro rata for reduced hours) plus commissions - in the region of 1,000 potential per month. Realistic OTE 35,000. Plus company car, laptop, mobile.

Hybrid working: Macclesfield office, on territory + home working.

Holidays: 20 days/year plus bank holidays, plus extra days for Xmas break closure. (Pro Rata)
