to join our Sales team within a growing precision engineering business. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll manage key customer accounts, build long-term relationships, and support new business opportunities from enquiry through to delivery.
Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and delivered to the highest quality standards, on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Prepare quotations and process customer orders
Interpret technical drawings and customer specifications
Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to meet customer requirements
Monitor order progress and provide regular updates to customers
Visit customer premises and attend trade shows as required
Support wider sales and team activities when needed
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working within a small, close-knit team
Competent IT skills
Desirable:
Technical qualification or experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Experience in precision engineering or laser-based manufacturing
Full UK driving licence
