PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:




We are looking for an Account Manager with some partnerships and PR experience as their core expertise, to join our growing team in a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will assist the Account Directors and Senior Account Directors in the development and implementation of strategic solutions for clients, developing long term client relationships.


Our clients are purpose-driven from across the government, charity, and the private sectors. The issues we tackle include health and well-being, skills and learning, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability and the environment.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?



You will work across large-scale integrated accounts

ensuring campaign delivery. You will help manage the whole process end-to-end through from initial ideation and KPI setting through to final delivery. You will support the team to launch consumer, purpose-driven PR campaigns with creative activations.

You will amplify campaign messages

by identifying and building productive partnerships with like-minded organisations. You will build your understanding of, and expertise in Partnerships Marketing.

You'll help manage the input of internal staff

across a range of disciplines including social media, creative, planning and client services, ensuring they are delivering on time, to brief and within budget.

You build and maintain excellent client relationships

, delivering the highest levels of client service.

You support the team with new business development

, identifying opportunities and building connections.

You understand the current and changing media and digital

landscape and have contacts across national and consumer media, using your eye for a good news story to proactively develop these with clients. You support the wider team on adapting and adjusting media relations strategy when required.

You're a keen networker

, and you build valuable relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople

You understand what makes a good story

, have excellent writing skills and use your creativity to inspire great PR-able ideas.

You are a team player

and have a willingness to get stuck into day-to-day media relations as part of a small team.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE



Min of 2-3 years agency experience

recently at AM level ideally within a client services team with working knowledge and some experience of building campaign partnerships which include PR.

A keen interest in working with clients in the environmental, sustainability, and public sectors.

Project management:

strong project manager.

Communication skills

: excels in all types of communication and at all levels with clients and internally. Has a clear, accurate and concise written style across emails, and written communication; able to deal with clients confidently.

Organisation

: can manage time efficiently and prioritise work effectively, delegating where appropriate, and finding solutions when issues arise

Research and analysis

can build evaluation and valuation (where appropriate) into the core of their campaigns, and shape research requirements and methodologies

Numeracy

: can understand how an agency makes money and is able to apply that understanding to the management of day-to-day accounts to ensure financial decisions are made to the benefit of the agency. Experience of budget management.

Computer skills

: adept at using MS Office programmes (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Paprika and the Contact database. Advanced PowerPoint skills are a must.
