3P Direct Ltd (The Print & Packaging People) is one of the largest print and packaging companies in the Midlands. We provide over 10,000 print and packaging related products via three successful ecommerce sites.

The packaging business provides just in time delivery from our 32,000sq ft distribution centre, with over 2500 pallet locations. The sales team manage key accounts locally with our own fleet of vehicles, or nationally via our ecommerce site UKPackaging.com.

We are looking for a Account Manager to join our growing packaging sales team. The candidate will ideally have packaging experience and a background of sales or account management.

Key Responsibilities

Working in a busy packaging team of ten people, this office based role is a mixture of sales, account management and purchasing.

Bonus scheme up to 4,000+ per annum, paid quarterly. Processing sales orders received via email or telephone and keeping customers informed of delivery dates. Raising purchase orders to suppliers for any non-stock bespoke items. Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible buying price. Dealing with new sales enquiries and providing customer quotations in a timely manner. Proactive outbound telephone calls to existing, inactive and prospective customers A confident telephone manner, organised nature and ability to develop relationships with customers is very important. Competent IT skills are essential, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Experience using Sage Accounts is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role, including products, systems and software
Salary 26-28k per annum, negotiable dependant on experience. Bonus scheme of 4k+ per annum, paid quarterly.

Working hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
