Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Manager based in Middlesbrough. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will also include overseeing service delivery, preparing reports, and working collaboratively with internal teams to meet client needs and company targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operate as the lead point of contact for your portfolio of clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Hold regular reviews with clients in accordance with Account Management Procedure.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our projects according to customer needs and objectives and the current legislation.
Liaise with in house and external technical and operational teams to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the correct standards.
Provide feedback to technical technical teams based on clients needs, aiding in the continuous improvement of the solutions offered.
Help to drive growth of the sales pipeline.
Requirements
Previous experience in account management, or a similar role - experience within construction, fire protection, or building services is advantageous.
Solid understanding of project processes and general contractor principles.
Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator able to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Knowledge of fire protection and construction-related documentation (e.g., purchase orders, reporting, compliance documentation etc) is desirable.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement and growth.
