At TJ Books, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our sales team, production team, and clients. In this critical role, you will manage end-to-end client experience, from initial project scoping through successful delivery of the final product. You will ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded while expertly navigating the complexities of the book production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and maintain exceptional standards of service to internal and external customers. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor and main point of contact. Work with Account Managers and the Sales team to process customer orders and generate work instructions in a timely manner, including checking customer files and print orders against estimates and scales. Guide clients through technical specifications and print requirements, ensuring they understand options for materials, binding methods, and finishes. Ensure the client order requirements are processed accurately and work with Account Managers to identify orders that will benefit from Pre-Production Meetings. Work with Estimating, Purchasing, Scheduling and Production to resolve queries, supporting the smooth and high-quality production of products. Promote excellent service by supporting Account Mangers in achieving businesses KPI's through critical date and schedule management. Chase components both internally and externally to ensure books can be scheduled effectively to meet agreed delivery deadlines. Provide holiday cover across the department as necessary.

About you:

A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and results. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Great time management and the ability to work independently. Meticulous organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Confidence using data and management information to inform actions. Proficiency with CRM software, project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential as training would be provided. Industry knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
