We're seeking an
Account Manager
to join our dynamic team and take ownership of a defined portfolio of clients. You'll act as the primary contact for your accounts -- developing strong partnerships, understanding client needs, and ensuring that Croft continues to deliver exceptional service and measurable results.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in IT Managed Services, Unified Communications, or technology-based solutions who enjoys combining commercial acumen with a genuine focus on customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate across teams -- sales, service delivery, and technical -- to ensure seamless experiences and help clients achieve their goals while driving retention and growth.
What You'll Do
Client Relationships:
Act as the main contact, building strong, trusted partnerships and maintaining proactive communication.
Service Excellence:
Ensure high-quality service, quickly resolving issues and managing expectations.
Retention & Growth:
Drive client satisfaction, renewals, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Account Planning & Commercial Awareness:
Maintain account plans aligned with client goals and Croft's strategy, while understanding contracts, pricing, and profitability.
Collaboration:
Work with internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Reporting & Market Insight:
Monitor account performance, forecast results, and stay informed on industry trends to provide valuable client insights.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience in account management, customer success, or client relationship management -- ideally within IT Managed Services, Unified Communications, or technology sectors.
Strong commercial understanding with the ability to identify growth opportunities and manage account profitability.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
Education & Certifications
Degree-level education in Business, Marketing, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
Professional certifications in account management, sales, or customer success (e.g., ISMM, CIM) are advantageous.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
