The Role: Account Manager





In this role you will do the following:

Lead and grow direct sales of Primal Pictures products across the UK & Ireland, focusing on academic institutions, healthcare education providers, and clinical markets. Drive profitable revenue growth by developing strategic relationships with key accounts and identifying new business opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sale account management. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention. Provide regular sales reporting, market insights, and performance updates to support business planning and decision-making. Represent Primal Pictures at relevant industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and deepen market engagement.

Responsibilities:





Drive Direct Sales Strategy and Execution:





Define and implement a strategic direct sales plan for the UK & Ireland to meet and exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with the Head of Sales to align regional strategy with global objectives, adapting plans as needed to respond to market dynamics. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key academic and clinical institutions to promote Primal Pictures products and solutions. Own a portfolio of direct accounts, ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and growth. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and market segmentation. Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely reporting, and clear visibility of opportunities and risks. Maintain up-to-date customer and opportunity data in the CRM system to support effective sales operations and decision-making. Provide regular updates to Sales Leadership on pipeline development, account strategy, and performance against targets.


Account Development and Customer Success:





Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor to support their evolving needs. Lead contract negotiations, including product selection, pricing, and terms, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Support) to deliver seamless onboarding and ongoing customer success. Represent Primal Pictures at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and deepen market engagement.


Market Intelligence and Collaboration:





Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and product development. Work closely with Marketing to develop tailored campaigns, sales collateral, and training materials that support direct sales efforts. Share insights and feedback with cross-functional teams to continuously improve customer experience and product-market fit.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from 40,000-43,000.00 plus commissions. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
