We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships across the business, ensuring a high-quality, responsive service at all stages of the customer journey. The role focuses on retaining customers, growing account value, and supporting profitable growth through excellent customer service and commercial awareness.
Duties
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building strong, long-term relationships at all levels.
Develop a clear understanding of customer commercial and delivery expectations to ensure consistent service and satisfaction.
Proactively manage day-to-day customer communications, including quotations, order status, and delivery updates.
Identify and deliver account growth opportunities through new product introductions, upselling, and cross-selling.
Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and structured account planning activity.
Prepare and manage quotations and commercial proposals in collaboration with estimating and engineering teams.
Manage customer orders from quotation through to delivery and aftersales support.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer commitments are met and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Support the resolution of customer queries, concerns, and complaints in line with company procedures, ensuring timely feedback and closure.
Maintain accurate records and produce regular account performance, revenue, and service KPI reports through Sales Force.
