The Role
As an Accountancy Apprentice, you'll split your time between practical on-the-job experience and structured study. You will work towards your AAT qualification, as well as working alongside experienced professionals who will guide and mentor you.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with spreadsheets, ledgers, journals, and client bank statements
Update and maintain accurate client records
Support general office administration tasks
Organise and archive financial documents
Liaise with clients via phone and email to gather information
Attend occasional company events or client site visits (some outside normal hours)
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 6 GCSEs (Grade 5 or above), including Maths and English
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong customer service skills
Solid Microsoft Office knowledge (especially Excel)
Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to work on your own initiative
Full UK driving licence required
