Help shape Finance in Local Government!

Working in the heart of the Council, this role provides the opportunity to lead and develop our accountancy team to provide an innovative and proactive approach to financial advice within the Council. In addition to the direct management of the Accountancy team, you'll support the Head of Finance in the production of the annual accounts and budget setting.

Your experience as a fully qualified accountant will be invaluable as you provide advice and support to projects from a financial perspective and assist with treasury management.

At Sevenoaks, you'll be able to shape your own development as we can offer experience of working with a financially self-sufficient Council, exposure to the Finance mechanisms for two companies and the chance to play a key role in the future of Local Government.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
