A growing accountancy practice in Peterborough is looking for an experienced, qualified (or nearly qualified) Accountant to join it's team. You'll be managing accounts, VAT, CIS, and tax returns for a variety of clients, from local entrepreneurs to growing businesses. You'll also play a key role in supporting junior team members.
Role Responsibilities
Prepare and manage accounts, VAT returns, CIS submissions, and tax returns. Work with a broad and varied client base. Support and mentor junior members of the team. Use software like QuickBooks to manage and maintain client records. Ensure compliance with HMRC deadlines and standards.
Personal Requirements
AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified). At least 3 years' experience in a practice environment. Confident working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Working knowledge of QuickBooks. Friendly, professional, and client-focused.
