Job duties
Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions, prepare interim balances, and reconcile them against the relevant accounts.
Coordinate with the payroll technician to ensure PAYE information is recorded accurately in the correct accounts.
Support the senior accountant with payroll processing, bookkeeping, financial statements, tax filings and reports, as well as any HMRC audits or investigations.
Respond to client queries and assist with feedback in coordination with the senior accountant.
Set up new client accounts and ensure all onboarding documentation is complete.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with existing customers to support credit control.
Perform general administrative and bookkeeping duties as required.
Support the senior accountant with explanation and bookkeeping of business records provided by clients with cross-border background, particularly from Asian region
Job Requirements
1, Chinese speaking, accounting qualifications is not requested, though would be a bonus if have any;
2, Aspires to become an accountant/tax advisor;
3, Great experience with VAT, Sage/QuickBooks/XERO software and cloud version, etc.;
4, Proactive character and high sense of responsibility, customer service and teamwork spirit.
