We're Hiring: Accountant / Client Manager

Location: Edinburgh (hybrid working available)

Salary: 30,000 to 44,000, depending on experience

Rosslyn Associates is a team of accountants, chartered tax advisors and business advisors. We work with small and medium-sized businesses, particularly in the trades sector, helping them grow through better financial guidance and support.

The Role:

As a Client Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact. You'll ensure deadlines are met, compliance is handled smoothly, and opportunities for improvement or support are identified.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication Reviewing statutory accounts and overseeing tax compliance Spotting opportunities for additional support or services Working with the wider team to meet deadlines and support business goals Suggesting and implementing process improvements for both clients and internal systems

What We're Looking For:

At least two years' experience in an accountancy role Comfortable speaking with clients and explaining financial matters in plain English Strong IT and communication skills Experience using Xero, FreeAgent or similar accounting software (preferred) Great attention to detail and a consistent, reliable work ethic Ambition to grow within the profession, whether in tax, business advisory, or both
