Accounting Clerk - 28,000 to 29,000 | Gloucester (Hybrid)

Element Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established Gloucester based business, who are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience who wants to be part of a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter purchase invoices into the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Act as the main point of contact for supplier queries via email and telephone.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts regularly to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple company accounts.
  • Review staff expense claims, ensuring compliance and querying discrepancies
  • Reconcile and post employee credit card transactions
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Assistant role.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working to deadlines
  • A team player with good communication skills
