Accounting Intern/Trainee - Glasgow



As part of the Next Generation Trainee Program at CBRE IA&R, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from industry experts and specialists, and gain meaningful work experience during your time at CBRE. The supportive training plan of the program will promote your rapid development. You will also gain valuable insights into how we support our clients and which will help you deepen your knowledge of real estate, accounting, finance, and related areas.

Internship Overview




CBRE Investment, Accounting and Reporting Solutions (CBRE IA&R) is the fund administration business line within CBRE. At CBRE IA&R, our mission is to be the leading provider of integrated fund and real estate accounting, administration, and data management services, create exceptional value for our clients and people and drive transformation across the global real estate landscape.


Our Client Servicing (Fund Accounting and Investment Oversight) internship will be focused on:

Preparation of accounting journals entries Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Control bank balances Control intercompany operations Prepare monthly reconciliations and reporting packages Monitor daily movements of banks and registrars Support in the preparation of Financial Statements Support in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits

What we are looking for:



A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for accounting and finance Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic and proactive with a positive attitude Attention to detail, accuracy and good time management Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Ability to speak, read and write in English

Network with CBRE IA&R colleagues and leaders, as well as those within the larger CBRE organization. Participate in social events and be given the opportunity to network with fellow interns. Complete a group final project and present findings to CBRE IA&R leadership to showcase your work and abilities. 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with potential to move in to a permanent role upon completion of the contract.
