As one of the small focused team of specialist Accounting Managers for the UK operations of Stellantis Group, you will work closely with and advise the UK Senior Financial Management on a wide range of finance and business topics, contribute to the annual UK Financial Statements, according to the UK Accounting Standards, as well as the financial statements in Group standards (IFRS), by guaranteeing the reliability and quality of the information, respecting deadlines and accounting, legal and tax standards.

The Stellantis group is almost constantly transforming and improving itself. Current transformations include simplification of legal structures and consolidation of common Accounting processes in specialist centres serving the entire Group. Responsibilities

- To manage, control, reconcile and produce the financial and management accounts, including the Group's monthly internal reporting for stocks, profit & loss and balance sheet in order to satisfy all Stellantis Group, local management and legal requirements.

- To reconcile and ensure agreement of all inter-group debtors and creditors each month end.

- To reconcile and ensure accurate recording of all monthly payroll costs

- To provide analysis required to support the Tax department with the tax affairs

- To prepare the annual UK statutory accounts and other statutory government returns

- Liaise with external auditors and other parties ensuring compliance with all UK company legislation.

- To act as the key point of contact on accounting issues and to ensure that all departments understand and comply with the Stellantis Group accounting standards.

- To be responsible for the accuracy of the balance sheet reconciliations allocated to you and report thereon on a timely basis within the OneStream reconciliation reporting tool.

- To work closely with colleagues in other departments and be their principal contact on accounting matters including reconciliations prepared outside of the UK accounting department.

- To maintain the necessary internal controls and to ensure the accuracy of the monthly account postings. To provide an efficient and accurate accounting service to all departments within the company.

- To prepare adhoc analysis and reporting as required from time to time.

- To support the Chief Accounting Officer with system implementation and transformation projects, including legal entity mergers

The ideal applicant will have the following:

- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification gained in either a multinational commercial environment or a medium-large Accountancy practice

- Experience in RTR (Record to Report) processes and a good working knowledge of internal controls

- Knowledge of the International Financing Reporting Standards (IFRS), UK Accounting Standards, and ideally Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ideally with experience of automation and the Microsoft Power platform

- Experience with the SAP Accounting system is desirable.

- Strong time management and organizational skills are key in this role in order to be able to meet the strict reporting deadlines.

- Highly numerate, comfortable working with an analytical approach to problem solving, self-motivated with the drive and ambition to pursue a career within finance.

- Able to work accurately and effectively under time pressure.

- Able to adapt quickly and easily to change with the desire to question procedures with a view to improve departmental efficiency.

- Capable of communicating and collating data on a timely basis from a wide variety of people within the organization. Consequently, the ability to build a rapport with people at all levels of the business will be required.

- Ability to see beyond the context of their own role when assessing the impact of the decisions and actions they take and so the consequences and impact on others within the business.

- Strong, flexible work ethic and commitment to get the job done on time
