Job Description

Join the Evri AccountingTeam - Where Finance Meets Fast-Paced Impact
Love numbers, thrive on accuracy, and enjoy being at the heart of a busy operation? At Evri, we move fast -- and our finance team keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We're looking for an Accounting Services Support professional to join our Team, owning key supplier relationships and making a real difference every day.
What you'll be doing:
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our Accounts Payable function, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure invoices are processed accurately, payments are allocated correctly, and risks are minimised. You'll take ownership of Direct Debit accounts, help reduce unallocated cash, and support smooth supplier payments across the business -- all in a collaborative, high-energy environment.
You'll also get exposure to utilities, multi-currency payments, and team rotation across key finance processes, giving you variety, challenge, and the chance to broaden your expertise.
Responsibilities as a Accounting Services Support:

  • Process invoices and credit notes using manual entry and OCR systems
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes, resolving discrepancies
  • Manage and allocate Direct Debit payments to minimise unallocated cash
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations for key Accounts Payable accounts
  • Liaise with internal departments and sites to resolve account queries
  • Support team rotation activities, including Bacs payments and OCR processing
Interested? Here's what you'll need to be successful:
  • 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using finance systems (OpenAccounts, eBIS, OCR experience desirable)
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, team-focused mindset
