South Milford Surgery is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented
Accounting Technician
to join our team on a part-time basis (around
8 hours per month
). This is a flexible role that would suit someone looking to use their skills in a supportive, community-focused setting.
What you'll be doing
Monitoring and reconciling
dispensary income
Updating and maintaining
cash flow spreadsheets and forecasts
Completing
month-end journals
for both the surgery and PCNs, feeding into management accounts
Preparing and maintaining
control spreadsheets
and other financial reports as needed
Working closely with our practice management team to ensure everything balances beautifully!
What we're looking for
Ideally an
Accounting Technician qualification
(AAT or equivalent)
Experience with reconciliations, journals, and management accounts
Strong skills in Excel and financial forecasting
A keen eye for detail and accuracy
Someone proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
