Immediate start - A finance & admin clerk is needed for our food service manufacturing plant in Bradford. The company has been trading for several years, serving hospitals, schools and wholesalers. The role is part time (18-22 hours / week) and permanent.
Regular duties will include, assisting the finance manager with:
Purchase ledger - processing of supplier invoices, reconciliation of statements and aged creditor reports, generating & reconciling supplier payments
Sales ledger - generating sales invoices, upload to third party payments system, reconciling aged debtor reports
Monitoring of purchase orders to check they match actual invoices
Assisting MD with any other administration tasks
It is anticipated that the role will be can be carried out over 5 half days though there may be some flexibility for the ideal candidate.
The applicant must have:
Relevant and comprehensive experience with Sage 50 and ability to keep the sales and purchase ledgers up to date
The ability to use Outlook & Excel effectively; responding to emails promptly & appropriately
Good communication skills
Their own transport
Ideally AAT qualified
Legal right to work & residence in the UK
English speaker
