Job Description

SWL is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Finance team member to process purchase ledger invoices, accounts receivable and help with general account responsibilities. The successful applicant will have good attention to detail and organisation skills to ensure monthly deadlines are met. Experience in this field is essential, although full training will be provided to our systems.

The Role



To join our finance team, processing purchase ledger invoices using electronic documents and hard paper formats. The successful candidate will also help reconcile supplier accounts for month end and undertake general admin responsibilities such as answering the phone, responding to emails, and dealing with general account related queries.

Other duties and responsibilities of the job may include but are not limited to:



- Raising sales invoices.

- Sending out monthly statements to clients.

- Chasing sales debtors.

- Liaising with sales team and customers to resolve any invoice queries.

- Processing purchase invoices.

- Supplier statement reconciliation.

- Preparing monthly pay runs for outstanding AP invoices.

- Processing of daily bank transactions.

- Bank reconciliation.

- Tracking bank balance, cash flow forecast.

- Record and reconcile credit card transactions.

- Assisting with submission of VAT returns.

- Processing journal entries for fixed assets, vehicles, interests etc.

- Preparing monthly management accounts.

Qualifications, experience and skills:



Previous experience work in an accounts department is essential.

Experience using Sage 50 and Xero (desirable).

Microsoft office basic knowledge required.

Good attention to detail and high numerical skills.

Experience in accounts department essential.

Able to prioritise workload

A passion for numbers, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Good working knowledge of sage is essential and Xero would be advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year
